Terms of Service

Effective date: January 1, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms govern the rental of StudioCast Atelier facilities (“Studios”) by the client (“Client”). By placing a hold or booking a Studio, the Client accepts these Terms and any attached rental agreement.

2. Booking and holds

Soft holds are maintained for 48 hours unless challenged. To convert to a hard hold, the Client must sign the rental agreement and pay the deposit. StudioCast Atelier may issue a 24-hour notice to resolve competing requests.

3. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed, a deposit is due to confirm a booking, and the balance is due upon completion of the rental. Overtime, damages, and add-ons will be invoiced post-rental and must be paid within 14 days.

4. Cancellations

Full refund up to 7 days before the rental, 50% refund up to 72 hours before the rental, and within 72 hours the deposit is non-refundable. Third-party rentals (e.g., gear) may have stricter policies.

5. Insurance

Commercial rentals require a Certificate of Insurance naming StudioCast Atelier as additional insured. Student or micro-budget projects may request a waiver subject to review.

6. Condition and damages

Studios are provided in clean and working condition. The Client is responsible for damages beyond reasonable wear and tear, including paint, cyc repairs, and any required restoration work where applicable.

7. Safety and conduct

  • Follow all posted safety guidelines and manager instructions at all times.
  • No pyrotechnics, open flames, or hazardous materials without prior written approval.
  • Electrical tie-ins must be performed by qualified personnel only.
  • Noise levels must respect neighboring units and local ordinances.

8. Use of premises

Studios may not be used for unlawful content or activities. Client is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and compliance with local regulations.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StudioCast Atelier is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amounts paid for the applicable rental.

10. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for delays or failures due to causes beyond reasonable control, including acts of God, power outages, or labor disputes.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with the effective date.
